The iPad Air has been launched today along with the iPhone SE at a virtual Apple event. The new iPad Air works on the company’s M1 chip, which is already available on iPad Pro models and is also part of Mac computers. Along with the new chip, the iPad Air includes an advanced front-facing camera that takes center stage.
Center Stage is a software feature that was released last year with the iPad Pro and iPad mini. However, the fifth-generation iPad Air has the same design that was introduced on the model launched in 2020.
iPad Air price in India, availability The Wi-Fi-only 64GB variant of the iPad Air costs Rs 54,900 in India, while the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant with 64GB of storage costs Rs 68,900. The new iPad Air has also been launched in 256GB Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + cellular models, but price information hasn’t been revealed.
The iPad Air comes in Blue, Space Grey, Starlight, Pink and Purple colors and will be available for sale in 29 countries, including the US, from March 18. The new model is available for pre-order in India from Friday, March 11.
