Indian Government has banned VLC Media Player but they do not provide any reason for the ban. VLC players cheat on the Indian user they will give or illegally use the Indian user’s data. But Indian Government does not provide a valid reason for the ban.

Its website has also been banned, on opening the website it is showing the message made under article 2000. The widely used VLC video player software and streaming media server no longer function in India. The VLC player created by the VideoLAN project was reportedly prohibited in India roughly two months ago, but neither the Indian government nor the corporation has provided any information regarding this prohibition.

According to the rules of India, no platform can take access to anything. According to the rumors reports suggest that VLC Media Player has been blocked in the country because the platform was used by China-backed hacking group Cicada for cyber attacks. Chinese hackers tried to take its data on their servers. India is boycotting this type of Chinese thing.
